How to grow Art Channel on youtube | The real tips

Youtube is the second highest search engine and this days most of us search on youtube for any queries instead of google. And regarding learning art, youtube has been helping a lot since it started. Therefore many teachers uploaded videos of painting methods to help the learners. However now a days it has become a source of income for the creators who upload on youtube. Consequently, the competition started and youtube is being overloaded with lots of channels.

In india after the launching of Jio Network the real game had started. Lakhs and lakhs of new channels are being created regularly. Even the viewers are in confused to whom they follow. Therefore it has become a tough work to succeed on youtube even though you are a great artist. Here I am going to share some real tips to grow on youtube fast.

    1. Confer Value : Don't create anything you like. There must be some reason to watch your videos for the viewers, remember, they are spending internet data . Learnt the subject properly before recording. Practice at least once before recording.

    2. Start with simple subject: You may draw some simple subject as like, fruits, vegetables, flowers etc. for the beginners. Even you can use only your pencil and eraser, no need expensive colours to grow on youtube. Show the process in a simple way which helps the learners to follow you.

    3. Stay connected with your viewers: There are many youtubers who succeeded without showing there face, I know it, but if you show your face and instruct with your voice, the chance of success increases.

    4. Show behind the scene: People like to peep into the creators personal life, don't hesitate, let them look what you do besides painting. This helps to increase engagement in your videos.

    5. Entertainment is the KEY: I have seen many great artist, who uploaded tutorials on youtube but they failed because they were just teaching not entertaining. Make videos entertaining, make the viewers laugh, bound them to comment on your videos.

    6. Don't create only for Art learners: I should not suggest you like this but the real tip is, make your videos eye catching for normal people who don't care about the rules of painting and drawing methods. If you have learnt painting in an art institution you would understand what I want to say. Most successful art channel's creators art not best artists at all. There are many youtube channels who are teaching in a wrong way, though they are getting millions of views and subscribers.

    7. Start with your minimal equipment: To grow on youtube you don't need to buy expensive equipment for recording. You can start what you have. Your smartphone is enough to make great videos. No need to buy expensive art material if you don's have with you now.

    8.  Create regularly: You must be consistent in your work, try to  upload at least one or two videos regularly.

    9. SEO: SEO means search engine optimization which refers to the technical knowledge of creating great titles, description, tags etc. You must learn these technical things along with creating videos to rank your channel videos, Watch SEO videos on youtube to learn more, but don't search of youtube "How to grow fast on youtubr" . Don't depend on SEO, your video does the job, so you must emphasis on making contents rather then shortcuts.

    10. Don't upload mixed contents: You must create similar contents on your channel. Don't mix all medium of paintings, stay with the medium you know most and like. It helps to create niche in your channel.

There are some points above which may not be said by anyone and contradictory, I have written these after analyzing  many art channels and two years experience on youtube. Youtube algorithm is maintained by artificial intelligence which promotes channels those can gain watchtime and CTR (click through rate). It doesn't care about values you provide. So, entertaining and engaging videos, catchy thumbnails, titles those bound viewers to click, may help you to succeed on youtube.
